Notice to Clients - 1st May 2009

H1N1 influenza (swine flu)

No AdminCorp personnel have travelled to high risk countries in the past month.

Should an issue arise where contact may have been made with someone who has travelled to a high risk country recently and the below symptoms arise, AdminCorp's policy is as follows:

1. AdminCorp Personnel will seek medical attention immediately and follow the instructions given by the practitioner.
2. All client appointments and workflow will be carried out online if possible or handed over to other personnel or deferred.
3. Client meetings will resume once clearance from their practitioner has been given.

Symptoms of H1N1 influenza

The symptoms of swine flu in people are expected to be similar to the symptoms of regular human and include fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing. Some people with swine flu also have reported runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

By now you will have noticed the change in logo. We’ve gone from orange to green because we are green, no unnecessary printing here. We have separated ‘admin’ and ‘corp’ because we are an administration corporation. We have a new tagline; Business Administration Outsourcing Specialists...our tagline says it all. We also have a badge which will show up on various sites, i.e. www.vbiznz.co.nz to show that we administer the service. 

2009 AdminCorp Focus
The focus this year is “OpenSource” and “Networking”. We’ve ridden the abundant wave for the last couple of years and now the markets are down we need to tighten our belts and work smarter.  

OpenSource is software that businesses can use for free under an OpenSource License. A lot of other software companies offer their software applications for free until you meet a set criteria, that may mean you start to pay once you reach a level of users or information or records etc. 

Networking online will increase this year. Marketing budgets for even large and global corporations have already been cut. By networking online, you can effectively become an expert in your industry or skill to a very large audience. You can also target your audience locally, nationally or internationally. There are also cost effective advertising avenues available using these online networks. 

OpenSource (OpenSource licence, free or low cost) and Networking links that AdminCorp will be showcasing this year are; 

·         www.zoho.com for collaborative documents, email, desktop and much more.
·         www.filesanywhere.com for ftp download and upload.
·         www.weebly.com for developing your own website – view our website to see what you can do www.admincorp.co.nz.
·         A great resource for open source is here http://www.o4b.co.nz. 

·         www.vbiznz.co.nz online network for all NZ businesses to encourage networking within NZ and partnerships for businesses to provide services overseas.
·         www.linkedin.com online network for international businesses. A very large network with many excellent features and a large NZ community.
·         www.twitter.com is the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?I’ve met many people from Christchurch and NZ here. 

Through these networks I get my name and my business name out there every day. 

Find what might be useful to you in your packs and give the rest away or take them home.
