Indeed if we want to grow our business, then partnerships are important. We need to be able to rely on service providers when we require overload or expertise support. I have always looked to organisations rather than people. I prefer to request services rather than manage them.
Some VA's prefer to be sole traders with a fixed set of skills. This works for the lifestyle business and in the early stages of Admincorp it certainly a good little medium. But ambition got the better of me.
There are large service providers out there that will provide to small businesses, it's just a matter of looking for them.
Obviously transcription is now a multi global service where you can have all your transcription completed in India. For verbatim non templated (non sensitive) large transcription projects we deal with a USA company who in turn outsources. Why? because we have a relationship with the USA company and communication between our companies is excellent and their pricing is very competitive in our market. They are also very good at what they do because they do it on a large scale.
So those partnerships for the growing va is all important.
